North Guard Defence ‘FPS’ camera mount utilizes mil spec dovetail connectors interfaces directly with L4G24 style NVG helmet mount. The ‘FPS’ camera amount offers more freedom of tilting angles as well as height adjustment comparing to legacy mounting solutions available in the current market. The ‘FPS’ camera mount also shares the similar design philosophy as the deployment of Night Vision Devices, all the safety lanyards and supporting hardware can be swapped to the ‘FPS’ mount as well, eliminating the need of constantly removing the entire system from the helmet shroud which could lead to damage to the shroud or potentially losing the camera in the field.
The strong suit of the ‘FPS’ camera mount shines as it allows the users to seamlessly detach the system and switch to the mission corresponding gear to adapt to the mission requirements, whether it’s a FPV goggle or Night Vision Devices.
The ‘FPS’ mount is CNC’d using anodized 6061 aluminium, not only providing durability compared to 3D printed legacy products it also offers a nicer touch on the surface, giving the operator a smoother feel when deploying the unit.
